Approaching the sand along East Hampton’s Cedar Point County Park, tour guide Bob Allen has one request: leave your worries at the pavement. He takes visitors on a two-mile journey to and from Cedar Island Lighthouse, along a sandy coastline that captures views of Northwest Harbor and Gardiner’s Bay, and across a history that spans over 140 years.
