Fun Voyages and Adventures Await!

At each boat show, there’s always a moaner who says, “Boating gets boring because there’s nothing to do except head to _________ over and over again.” We hand them a copy of our magazine, show them our website and its routing feature, and introduce them to one or more of the many readers who come by our booth to say “thanks” for acquainting them with new places and events to experience by boat.

Whether you take to the water in a powerboat, sailboat, paddle boat, jet ski, or SUP, mixing things up avoids monotony. We promise that you’ll enjoy boating more than ever before if you let us put ideas in your head!

When conditions are right, the possibilities for enjoying the boating lifestyle on Long Island are limited only by your days off. From east to west and south to north, we’ll share the details of the busiest and calmest anchorages, the most charming harbor villages, the endless appeal of that barrier island known as Fire, and describe where our boatable rivers can take you.

Want to take in a baseball game, a tennis match, an awesome park, or a museum? All three are accessible via the same route. With our info and direction, you’ll witness special events such as an air show, stroll along an art walk, visit wildlife retreats, and party with pirates. Since we love to boat until Mother Nature becomes hostile, we reveal how you can enjoy seasonal attractions such as farmers markets, fall foliage spotting, and holiday boat parades.

There’s so much more to see and do when boating season arrives. In the interim, please check out our past Day Trippers at
