Editor’s Letter

Without boating to distract us from the bleak and frozen landscape outside our door, it’s easy to catch a bad case of cabin fever. However, you’re holding magical medicine in your hand: stories on the boating lifestyle that will cure (almost) anything that ails you!

The antidote to boating withdrawal is immersing yourself in the articles we shared with you last year. Whether you were so active that you never found enough time to read our magazine from cover to cover, or are a new boater, please enjoy our story selections. We’ll help you with any new (and old) boating resolutions, prevent you from going crazy while the calendar creeps towards spring, and enhance your year-round lifestyle on and off the water.

Along with full articles from last year’s issues, we’ve added a roundup of water-accessible restaurants we reviewed, examples of boating adventures we encouraged, and event listings to keep you going. As always, there’s a lot more on our website to keep you entertained, informed, safer, and fitter.

Truth be told, it does appear as if we’re failing you in one regard, health-wise. However, we’re not going to apologize for spreading that colossal dose of boating fever you’re now feeling!
