Dining by the Water

See, boaters get hungry when we’re out to sea. However, we don’t want to cut a great day on the water short when it’s time for a meal. We prefer to seek tasty spots near our favorite boating locations.

That’s why boaters love our restaurant reviews! We scope out the places to dine, get the scoop on docking, and share our favorite dishes. In 2016, our reviewers visited 20 restaurants. Some were upscale, presenting inventive, seasonal menus. Others were reliable go-to’s where patrons order the same thing time after time (and are glad they did). Cuisines included Mexican, Cuban, Italian, and American. There were plenty of places with raw bars and one featuring ramen. Reviews included an establishment where Teddy Roosevelt was a patron, an eatery that opened when Jimmy Carter was in the White House, and a few in their restaurant infancies. All had one thing is common: Our reviewers recommend them to our readers as worth a visit!

We’ll be on the lookout for delicious dining in 2017 — watch our magazine for reviews throughout the year.
